Lanolin is a wax-like substance that is secreted by the sebaceous gland of the sheep's skin which covers the wool fibres with a protective layer. It ist recovered from the shorn wools rinsing water. In the cosmetics industry lanolin and its derivatives are mainly used as moisturising agents for nutrient, fatty, hand, and night creams, lipsticks, shampoos etc.. We offer pharmaceutical grade qualities purified by additional vaccum distillation for highest standards.
